John A. Broyles, M.D.

Dr. John A. Broyles received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Medical School . He completed an internship at University Hospital in Birmingham before going to the University of Alabama to fulfill his residency requirements in dermatology. He entered private practice in Huntsville, Alabama in 1964 and worked until 1968 when he entered the Army.

Dr. Broyles served as Chief of Dermatology Service at Ireland Army Hospital, Fort Knox, KY and as Chief of the Department of Medical Service until 1970. After completing his military service, he began a dermatology practice in Atlanta. From 1972 - 1975, Dr. Broyles was co-director of the dermatology training program at Emory University School of Medicine. He joined the staff of Georgia Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center in 1992. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the Georgia Society of Dermatologists.

In his spare time, Dr. Broyles plays golf as often as possible and enjoys handcrafting his own golf clubs.
